On Wednesday, Reaves concluded with 28 points and 16 assists in the absence of LeBron and Doncic. What grabbed everyone's attention was his hitting a floater at the buzzer to rescue the Lakers. His winning score came off a sideline inbounds pass near center court with 6.6 seconds left while the opponents led by one point.

Reaves, who joined JJ Redick’s side as an undrafted free agent, split a double team by two players with All-Defensive Team credentials in Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert before driving into the lane to toss in a floater from 12 feet. Although James and the Slovenian star were not on the court following injuries, they made sure to cheer their teammate on social media.

James went NSFW as he reacted to the guard. The 40-year-old NBA icon wrote on his official X (formerly Twitter):

“A-MUTHAF**KIN-R!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
