Luka Doncic, the Lakers’ newest superstar is putting down roots in Los Angeles as he purchased a new home from tennis great and former World No. 1 Maria Sharapova. The former Dallas Mavericks point guard has bought Manhattan Beach for a sum of $25 million which earlier belonged to the Russian superstar.

Doncic has been living a luxurious life ever since his move to the Lakers. The 26-year-old is now ready to cement himself in LA following his blockbuster trade this year. The American basketball player went through a shocking trade soon after he closed on purchasing a $15 million home in Dallas.

The Slovenian inked a three-year contract extension with the 17-time NBA Champions this offseason. As per a report in The Orange County Register, it is a modern three-story house custom-built in 2015 on a quarter-acre lot. The house, which was previously owned by the five-time Grand Slam champion, has five bedrooms, a pool, and a two-lane bowling alley, along with many other luxuries.

Meanwhile, Doncic’s new offseason fitness has been going viral as he seemingly loses a significant amount of weight. The Lakers’ All-Star guard is ready to do anything to give the Lakers their 18th championship with his summer body transformation.  Meanwhile, the Lakers have announced their 2025-26 pre-season schedule.

The franchise will be hosting four games, highlighted by a matchup in Las Vegas where they will be facing the Mavericks. The much-awaited fixture will be held on October 15 at T-Mobile Arena. The pre-season kicks off against the Phoenix Suns on October 3 at Acrisure Arena. JJ Redick’s side will also host a pair of home games at Crypto.com Arena as they play Golden State on October 12 and Sacramento on October 17.
