Luka Doncic may have returned to his old ways when it comes to playing basketball, but when it comes to acclimatizing to the city of Los Angeles, he is not yet finished and still adjusting. LA is a completely different place when compared to Dallas, where Doncic desired to stay for the entirety of his career. However, Nico Harrison had other plans, and he decided to shake the NBA world by trading Doncic to the LA Lakers.

Luka Doncic Reveals the Only Thing He Did Not Like About LA
Doncic appeared on the most recent episode of the "Mind the Game" podcast with his new teammate LeBron James and former Maverick Steve Nash, where Nash asked him about living in Los Angeles. Talking about his transition he revealed an aspect of the city he does not fancy.
"Well, first of all, this is the first city I've played in that has an ocean, and I really like the ocean," Doncic answered. "After a couple days, that was the first thing on my mind. I like it, I like it very much, the only thing is the traffic."
LeBron James confirmed that, saying, "The first week I asked him a question, like, 'How you adjusting?' 'Eh, I'm adjusting, I like the beach.' First thing he said, 'I like the beach.'"
Luka Doncic has had a quiet start with the Lakers but the Slovenian eventually settled into his stride. So much so that he began to breach the 30-point mark consistently. While the Lakers could not progress beyond the playoffs, Doncic's acquisition still paid off, and will be marked as successful. Luka complemented LeBron, exactly the way which was expected from him. Now, all eyes are on the next season, where the pair will reunite and create havoc together. Moreover, given the fact that the Lakers are yearning for a championship run, a star signing is also likely to be made during the offseason.
