Months after being picked up in the federal investigation related to gambling allegations, Malik Beasley received a big relief on Friday. As per ESPN's Shams Charania, the Detroit Pistons star was not "being considered of the target" in the allegations related to the 2023-24 season.

According to Charania, the Eastern District of New York had "the extensive conversations" with the NBA player about the allegations and cleared him from the target list.

Beasley's girlfriend, Natalia Garibotto, was happy with news of his getting a relief from the Eastern District of New York. Garibotto shared Shams Charania's Instagram post on her story with a emotional message.

"When the world tried to bring you down, your head was always up," Garibotto wrote in the caption. "You're the truth Mr. Beasley."

 

 

Earlier in her Instagram story, Garibotto shared a picture with Malik Beasley. She donned a backless top and a pair of denims as she walked, holding hands with Beasley.

"Us," she captioned the post, followed by a white heart emoji.

 

 

After a stellar season with the Detroit Pistons, the side was ready to give Beasley a huge three-year, $42 million deal to retain him. However, the offer froze due to  the investigation.

As per Charnia, other sides had also stopped the conversation about signing Malik Beasley. However, since the investigation stopped, Beasley's career could see a rise again. Several teams have enquired about his availability.

On August 11, Beasley posted two images on his Instagram handle. The pictures showcased Beasley posing in his colorful attire. However, it was the caption of the post which attracted attention.

"ohhh boy.. I got a story to tell ," he wrote in the caption.

 

 

Since the end of the last NBA season, the pistons' player has remained in the limelight  but due to wrong reasons. Amid gambling allegations, he was evacuated from his rented apartment in Detroit for not paying the rent. The apartment was owned by Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert's real estate company.
