When will LeBron James return? NBA Insider provides injury timeline for Lakers star

The Lakers have reached the third game of the regular season and after missing the whole pre-season, LeBron remains out for the 17-time NBA Champions. However, as per Dave McMenamin, James will be out for “three more weeks.” McMenamin stated, during his appearance on ESPN's NBA Today:

"I'm told that we're still in the range of about three more weeks before he would be targeting a return sometime in mid-November."

He further revealed:

"I have been told by multiple sources over the last several days that his rehab and all of the process to get back to that return date is moving in the right direction, so there is good vibes around it."

While LeBron is ruled out, Luka Doncic has been carrying a heavy role for the franchise in the first two games. However, with the Slovenian also out with a lower leg contusion, the Lakers would need Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura to step forward and their absence.

The shooting guard contributed with  41 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals.
