Actors Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, best known for their roles as Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore on the hit supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, were seen sitting courtside together at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
The reunion, captured in photos shared widely on social media, compelled the official account of the NBA on Prime to post the image with the playful caption that read:
“Elena and Stefan sitting courtside at MSG, but where’s Damon?”
It was a direct nod to the show’s iconic love triangle involving Ian Somerhalder’s character, Damon Salvatore. Additionally, the Knicks shared a photo of star player Jalen Brunson posing alongside the Vampire Diaries actors, which has been widely circulated on social media platforms.
The Knicks' official account also posted a humorous "dear diary" entry referencing the Vampire Diaries TV series, jokingly claiming that a chipmunk asked the writer's name and was told it was star player Jalen Brunson.
