Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is grabbing headlines since getting his senior India call-up for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England. The 15-year-old also secured his berth in India's squad for the upcoming Asian Games, which is set take place from September 17 to October 3 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Sourav Ganguly reflects on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's India selection
Reacting on this, former India skipper Sourav Ganguly has expressed his take on the rising young opener. The former left-handed batter believes that fans should let the youngster express himself, as he is too young to carry heavy expectations on his shoulders.

"I think we should let him be; he is just 15-year-old and I don’t think he will bother too much about pressure and that is what we get to see him in the IPL. Obviously, playing for India is different and he will be touring where the wickets will be a little different," said Sourav Ganguly to PTI.
While talking further, Ganguly said that Vaibhav must find his place to get settled inside the team, as he has got a lot of talent like many other players in India.
“… so just let him be, don’t expect the world from him straightaway. Just allow him to settle down because you know he has got a lot of talent like many others in India," added Ganguly.

The young opener enjoyed a historic individual campaign with the bat, amassing 776 runs in just 16 innings at an average of 48.50 with a humongous strike rate of 237.30. Vaibhav managed to hit one century and five half-centuries throughout the competition while representing Rajasthan Royals.
