Pakistan's top order failed to perform in the first Test match against Bangladesh.

Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan's stand has crossed the 100 runs mark.

Pakistan are currently featuring in the first Test match against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. The visitors to Bangladesh were seen dominating on day 1 after taking quick wickets in the first session. Bangladesh pacers were seen dominating as they picked up three wickets to put pressure on the hosts.

However, after losing four wickets, Pakistan batters Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel changed the game to put Pakistan on top. Both batters had done a rare thing, they run for four runs on day 2. It was Nahid Rana's over, he bowled a bowl to Saud Shakeel and the pair ran all four. Shakeel smashed it straight off mid-off and Shoriful dived across, got a hand and took the pace off.  The ball does not reach the fence and Shanto hunts it down from mid-on which gives the batters ample time to run four.  It happened during the 49th over of Pakistan's innings when Shakeel and Rizwan had already formed a fighting stand for the fifth wicket.

Bangladesh never won a Test match against Pakistan and this is a good opportunity for the visitors to create history at Rawalpindi Stadium. This series will surely boost the morale of Najmul Hossain Shanto & Co. because they will have to feature against India in after Pakistan series. Bangladesh will play three T20Is followed by two Tests against India which is scheduled to start from 19 September.
