India beat New Zealand by four wickets in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final.

Rohit Sharma-led side created history as they defeated New Zealand by four wickets to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This was India's second consecutive ICC title win after the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados. Team India remained unbeaten in the whole tournament to clinch the title as they defeated Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand in their group stage match. They defeated Australia to register their berth for the final.

Celebrations erupted as in the country as Ravindra Jadeja smashed a winning four at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. Team India were also over the moon after the emphatic win. After India's win against New Zealand, Navjot Singh Sidhu was spotted alongside Navjot Singh Sidhu, where the former India cricketer urges him to do some bhangra moves, the clip of the incident went viral on social media, here is the video.

"I will say it again and again, you are the best in the world. I will shout it out and say it everywhere. There is no one like you in the world. Isn't there?" Navjot Singh Sidhu told Hardik Pandya.

Hardik was in lethal form throughout the tournament, he scored 99 runs and picked up four wickets. Hardik, who was a part of the 2017 Champions Trophy as well, also reacted after India's Champions Trophy 2025 triumph.

"It's always amazing to win an ICC event, especially the Champions Trophy. I remember 2017 very closely to my heart. We couldn't finish the job that time. Pleased with how we have played throughout the tournament, and at the same point of time how everyone contributed. (On how KL finished the game) Brilliant, calm, composed, took his chances at the right point of time. I think this is what KL Rahul is. KL Rahul has immense talent, I don't think anyone can hit the ball the way he can. That was an exhibition of how he did today," said Hardik in post-match conference.

Team India became the most successful team in Champions Trophy history as the Champions Trophy 2025 was the third win for the Men in Blue. The first one was shared with Sri Lanka in 2002, and the second title came under MS Dhoni's captaincy in 2013.
