India's spin legend Harbhajan Singh was in savage mode as he mercilessly trolled Mohammad Rizwan's Pakistan team after India cruised into the Champions Trophy 2025 final after gunning down world champions Australia in the semifinal on March 5 at the Dubai International Stadium.

Harbhajan Singh apparently teased the Men in Green that after India sealed their berth for the summit clash, the Champions Trophy 2025 grand finale won't be held in Pakistan. Notably, the Champions Trophy final is scheduled to take place in Dubai on March 9. Harbhajan's reminder stemmed from the pre-tournament agreement that India's semi-final and final matches would be moved to neutral venues if they progressed beyond the league stage. Consequently, despite Pakistan's initial hosting rights, India's participation in the later stages necessitated a change of location, ensuring a neutral playing field.

Pakistan's journey in the ICC Champions Trophy ended prematurely, with their elimination occurring in the league stage. Their Champions Trophy campaign began with a loss to New Zealand, which was followed by a massive defeat against their arch-rivals Pakistan, where Virat Kohli cracked a match-winning century. Not just this, even Pakistan's hope for a consolation win against Bangladesh in their last league-stage match couldn't be fulfilled as the clash was abandoned due to rain. This saw Pakistan and Bangladesh signing off the Champions Trophy 2025 without a single win.

They will now await the outcome of the second semi-final, which is being held in Lahore between New Zealand and South Africa. New Zealand qualified for the semi-finals by winning two of their three league matches, with their sole loss coming against India. South Africa also secured two wins in the league stage, and their match against Australia was abandoned due to rain. The winner of this semi-final will challenge India for the Champions Trophy title on March 9 at the Dubai International stadium.
