Former India captain Virat Kohli stole the limelight with his animated celebration after Varun Chakravarthy picked up Travis Head's wicket in the semifinal of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against Australia at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. The incident happened during the second ball of the ninth over as Chakravarthy tossed up a delivery from around-the-wicket on the middle-and-off channel, which was misjudged by Head and vice captain Shubman Gill picked an easy catch at long-off.
Head has been the biggest headache for Indian bowlers as the batter holds a great record against Rohit Sharma-led side. The video of Kohli's celebration goes viral on social media. Here is the clip.
Travis Head was the main man behind Pat Cummins-led side's win against the 2023 ODI World Cup final and the World Test Championship (WTC) final. He smashed a century in ODI World Cup and a double ton in the WTC final.

Coming back to the match, after opting to bat, the Steve Smith-led Australia failed to get a good start as Mohammed Shami picked up Cooper Connolly's wicket in the third over. While writing the copy, Australia are 215/6. Alex Carey (46) and Ben Dwarshuis (3) are looking to build a partnership to get a decent total in the must-win clash.
