The next Indian player to shine for India in County cricket is Navdeep Saini, who bagged a five-for on his debut for Kent against Warwickshire on Tuesday, July 19. He is the second Indian to do so, after young all-rounder Washington Sundar made his Lancashire debut and also bagged five wickets for his team.
Right-arm pacer Saini is playing alongside New Zealand pacer Matt Henry, and the third wicket for Kent, dismissing Chris Benjamin. He then went on to bag the wickets of Dan Mousley, Michael Burgess, Henry Brookes and Craig Miles to complete his five-for. His brilliant contribution means that Warwickshire are now reeling at 206/9. Henry also dismissed two batters.

Saini travelled to England as a net bowler with India and played in the warm-up match between Leicestershire and India. He was announced as a Kent signing, and he is scheduled to play three red-ball matches and five Royal London One Day matches, which will be played in August.
The Indian players are enjoying a purple patch in the ongoing county season. Cheteshwar Pujara was the first player who landed in England for the county season and his dream run for Sussex saw him making his India comeback. Umesh Yadav recently made his county debut for Middlesex and well, picked up two wickets for his team in the first match against Worcestershire.
Saini has been out of the national side for a year now and performances in county cricket can see him make his return.
Krunal Pandya set to land in England soon
Meanwhile, out-of-favour India all-rounder Krunal Pandya will join Warwickshire and will play the Royal London One Day Cup for them.
