Although there was no initial rain prediction for the India vs Pakistan World Cup clash, the IMD report forecasts sporadic light rain in the Ahmedabad district over the forthcoming five days.
"While the weather is expected to remain dry over the next five days in Gujarat, light showers might be experienced at some places in the Ahmedabad district on 14 October. The ambience will stay overcast. On the following day, there might be light rainfall in Ahmedabad and other northern districts, such as Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Arvalli," Manorama Mohanty, the director of the Meteorological Centre in Ahmedabad, was cited as saying by PTI.
However, reliable websites by accuweather.com predict clear skies for the whole of October 14, with the fans hoping for a full and exciting game of cricket.
