The International Cricket Council (ICC) on November 07 (Monday) announced the match officials for the semifinals of the T20 World Cup with Kumara Dharmasena and Paul Reiffel named the on-field umpires of the India versus England contest in Adelaide. Chris Gaffaney will be the third umpire for the India-England game on November 10.

 

When it comes to India vs England high-octane semi-final fixture, two seasoned umpires have been bestowed with the responsibility of officiating the contest at the Adelaide Oval. Sri Lanka's Kumara Dharmasena has the experience of officiating as an on-field umpire in 233 international matches while Australia's Paul Reiffel boasts the experience of officiating in 158 international matches as an on-field umpire.

 

After topping Group 2, India will take on Group 1 runner's-up England in the second semi-final at Adelaide Oval on November 10 (Thursday).

 

Marais Erasmus and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires in the first semifinal between New Zealand and Pakistan in Sydney on November 09 (Wednesday) with Richard Kettleborough being the third umpire.

 

The final will be played at the MCG on November 13.

 

"Appointments for the 13 November final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground will be advised once the outcome of both semi-finals are known," said the ICC in a statement.
