Under-19 World Cup Semifinal Schedule: The Under-19 World Cup 2024 is approaching its business end and has now reached its knockout stages with the semifinalist confirmed. India secured their semifinal spot by topping Group-1 with five consecutive wins. Similarly, South Africa and Australia have made it to the semifinals from Group-2. Pakistan are the latest inclusion in the semifinal as they defeated Bangladesh by five runs on February 3 in a low-scoring thriller. Pakistan's win finalised the Under-19 World Cup 2024's semifinals' lineup.

Who Will India Compete Against?

Team India, which topped Group-1 in the Super Six stage, will face host South Africa, who finished second in Group-2. The Indian batters need to be cautious of South Africa's formidable bowler Kwena Maphaka, who has taken the highest number of wickets in the tournament so far, with 18 dismissals in five matches. The first semifinal of the Under-19 World Cup between India and South Africa is scheduled to be played on February 6th in Benoni.

Who Will Pakistan Face in Under-19 World Cup semis?

As for the second Under-19 World Cup semifinal match, once Pakistan secured their place in the semifinals, their opponent was also determined. Pakistan will face Australia, a team that has remained unbeaten in the World Cup so far, in the second semifinal match. This encounter between Australia and Pakistan is set to take place on February 8th in Benoni as well.

When Will the Final Take Place?

The ICC has also arranged for a reserve day for both Under-19 World Cup semifinal matches. The final match is scheduled to be played on February 11 in Benoni, with a reserve day also set aside for it. The Under-19 Indian team, in particular, will be aiming to capture the title for the sixth time. India have demonstrated impressive performance so far, having decisively defeated big teams like New Zealand and Bangladesh.
