Shubman Gill will lead India in ODIs.

New Zealand veteran batter Kane Williamson has lauded Rohit Sharma for his cricketing skill by calling him the 'legend of the game'. He reckons that the new ODI captain, Shubman Gill, will benefit from his presence in the upcoming white-ball series against Australia.

While announcing India's squad for the Australia series, BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar shocked everyone after saying that he personally conveyed the management's decision to Rohit about making Gill his successor. Shubman and other players have undoubtedly benefited greatly from his influence," Williamson said on the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards in Mumbai as quoted by ANI.
