The batting great, who captained India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 triumph, was recently spotted taking blessings from Lord Ganesha during the Ganpati Puja in Mumbai.

Rohit's last international outing came in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where unbeaten India defeated New Zealand in the final at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on March 9, 2025. Rohit was India's highest run-getter in the final of the mega event that helped the Men in Blue to win the title for the third time in 27 years. He was awarded Player of the Match for his 76-run knock in the summit clash of the Champions Trophy 2025.
The batting great's last cricketing outing came in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he represented the Mumbai Indians (MI). The batter scored 418 runs in 15 outings.
Rohit will now be seen in action in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. Team India will travel to Australia next month to participate in a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series. The ODI series will start on October 19 at Optus Stadium in Perth, and the next two 50-over matches are scheduled to take place in Adelaide (October 23) and Sydney (October 25).
