Virat Kohli is eager to bounce back in third Test.

After a rigorous and concentrated net session on Thursday, December 12, Virat Kohli appears to be ready for the Brisbane Test. The Adelaide defeat would have been difficult for Kohli, who had made a century in the Perth Test. The Australian pacers took advantage of the star batter's vulnerability outside off-stump, dismissing him for 7 and 11 in the second Test.

During the net practice in Adelaide on December 10, it was evident that Kohli had made the decision to concentrate on this shortly after the pink-ball Test. Kohli would be the main focus of the Indian team's first training session in the city on Thursday. Before training began, the Indian star would take charge of the huddle and give his teammates an impassioned and energizing motivational speech. The Indian celebrity began with some warm-up exercises and exuded energy. Slip catching was one of the fielding drills he would do thereafter.

Kohli's big plan to overcome ongoing slump

In Brisbane, Kohli spent an hour and a half in the nets. During his time in the nets, Kohli was really concentrated, and like the session in Adelaide, the star batter was leaving many deliveries pitching outside off. The session also featured a lot of backfoot play, with Kohli displaying some pulls and cut strokes.

Before taking on the top Indian bowlers, Kohli spent a lot of time with the throwdown experts. For the final thirty minutes, the star batter concentrated on his specific goals for the session. After his lengthy net practice, Kohli would play a lot of cover drives and backfoot punches to conclude the day's training.

Virat Kohli has only played just one Test match in Gabba, Brisbane so far in his career. This was back in the 2014 tour and the former Indian batter could only score 20 runs which came across both innings. He would be eyeing to get some good numbers ahead of his name on the iconic venue. India is likely to have another practice session on December 13 prior to the match.
