With the weather seemingly clear today, fans can expect a sunny and bright start to the game as the weather begins to cool as the match progresses. According to BBC Weather, there are chances of precipitation during the day, with the highest reaching 12% around 10:00 AM BST. Meanwhile, the match is slated to kick off at 2:30 PM BST, and 7:30 PM IST.
With such low levels of rain predicted, the Indian side can hope to perform at their best yet again and land defeat on the England team less than a week after the Indian side were beaten in the fifth Test at the same location.

To recap the 1st ODI win, after England's poor start which saw the dismissal of skipper Jos Buttler off Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling and a brilliant debut over in international cricket for Arshdeep Singh that ended in a maiden, skipper Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Hardik Pandya. He displayed his bowling prowess by sending David Malan back to the pavilion, and his next wicket saw the dismissal of power hitter Liam Livingstone, who came to bat at number four, on the last ball of the same over.
With three wickets for 29 runs, India began cruising to a win. Pandya added the scalps of Sam Curran (4) and opener Jason Roy (4) as we. England's highest run-getter was Moeen Ali, who could score only 36 runs. Apart from Pandya, Arshdeep also bagged two wickets.
Earlier in the match, India batted first and scored 198 runs for eight wickets, helped by Pandya's 51 runs in 33 balls. He shared a 37-run stand for the fourth wicket with Suryakumar Yadav (39) and 45 runs for the fifth wicket with Axar Patel (17). Suryakumar himself scored 43 runs for the third wicket with Deepak Hooda (33). England bowlers, Moeen Ali and Chris Jordan took the maximum of two wickets each for England.
