Rishabh Pant's hit a robust maiden ODI hundred to script India's glorious victory against England in the decisive third ODI on Sunday. The five-wicket victory also meant India sealed the three-match ODI series 2-1.

Pant again rose to the occasion with a scintillating 125 off 113 balls which was ably supported by Hardik Pandya's impressive 71 off 55 and 4.24 as the visitors completed the task with 47 balls to spare.

Right after Pant's big knock, former Indian star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh posted a '45 minute conversation' Tweet which did rounds of Internet and went viral. Moments after the Manchester match hero Pant has now responded to the social-media post.

“Looks like the 45 minute conversation made sense!! Well played @RishabhPant17 that’s how you pace your innings @hardikpandya7 great to watch #indiavseng,” tweeted Yuvraj after Pant scored his maiden ODI century.

The star India wicketkeeper-batter replied back to Yuvraj saying, "It did, indeed Yuvi pa."

Earlier, right after the match Pant said that he will remember the knock for rest of his life.

"Hopefully I remember (this knock) for the rest of my life. I was focusing on one ball at a time when I was batting. When your team is under pressure and you bat like that .. something I aspire to do. I always enjoy playing in England, at the same time enjoy the atmosphere and the situation. The more you play the more experience you gain," Pant had said after the win in Manchester.

As former India players celebrated 20 years of the team’s magnificent win over England in the Natwest Trophy final back in 2002, the Men in Blue lifted the ODI series championship cup in style just a few days later by replicating some similar heroics. A massive 326-run goal was chased down by India 20 years ago thanks in large part to the outstanding batting performances of Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif.

With the win, India completed series wins in both ODIs and T20Is over the Jos Buttler-led unit. After losing the rescheduled fifth Test, Indian team got their act right in the limited-overs format and posed a stiff challenge to the hosts in all the six fixtures. The white ball results would do their confidence a world of good as the side prepares for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
