India captain Hardik Pandya won the all-important toss and elected to bat first in the 5th and final T20I against West Indies at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida. The Men in Blue went in with the same XI that featured in the fourth T20I. Meanwhile, the Men in Maroon made two changes to the playing XI that featured in the previous match. Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph were included in the XI in place of Odean Smith and Obed McCoy.
