LSG to face DC in New Delhi.

Delhi's last league stage match.

Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka has been on the never-ending side of criticism and backlash after scolding LSG captain KL Rahul in front of everyone after their embarrassing 10-wicket loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 57 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, on May 8. Many people from the cricket fraternity have suggested that Goenka should have done that behind closed doors instead of ground in front of cameras. Now amidst this controversy, Rahul's wife and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty has posted a cryptic story on Instagram.

Athiya Shetty's cryptic post

Athiya Shetty posted a picture of the sun shining through a sky full of clouds from her official Instagram handle and captioned it by writing, “The calm after the storm”. Fans are now speculating that this might be in response to the controversial moment with LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka. The screenshots of her story are now going viral all across the social space at a rapid pace.

LSG to face DC

LSG is still alive in the playoff race with two more league-stage matches. They are currently in the seventh spot on the points table with 12 points. They need to win both their remaining games by a big margin and hope CSK lose their upcoming game against RCB to have better chances at making it into the playoffs.

Lucknow is set to face Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This is DC's last match and they would try to pick up a massive win here. The happy news for them is the return of Rishabh Pant, who couldn't play the game against RCB due to suspension.
