The ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League will finally come to an end with the summit clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 Final that will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, on May 26 (Sunday). However, fans are worried that rain does not spoil the match proceedings.

The good news for fans is that the Chennai weather forecast has not predicted too much rain. according to Accuweather's report, there is only a 3 per cent chance of rain, and that too only passing showers. It is highly unlikely that rain will play spoilsport during the game time. However, the weather has been quite unpredictable and has caused a washout on several occasions. There was rain on the eve of the big clash, which also affected the Knights' practice session.

What happens if KKR vs SRH gets washed out?


The good news is that even if the rain causes a washout on Sunday. There is a whole reserve day available on Monday to complete the match. There were no reserve days for the rest of playoffs matches but that won't be the case in the big finale.
