Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is currently playing against Shreyas Iyer's Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their ongoing IPL 2026 clash, which is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Once again SRH opener Abhishek Sharma etched his name in the history books by joining an elite list.

Big feat for Abhishek Sharma

Winning the toss PBKS invited SRH to bat. The Orange Army's Abhishek Sharma again kicked off the innings in a fiery fashion, scoring 35 runs off just 13 balls. During his stay, the left-handed batter hit two boundaries and four maximums. Abhishek hit his first six on the second delivery of the innings off Arshdeep Singh's bowling, hitting second and third six off Marco Jansen's bowling in the second over.

On the fourth over, the left-handed batter smashed Lockie Ferguson to reach four sixes. With these four sixes, he became the sixth batter in the world to complete 300 T20 sixes in India. Now, he has smashed 302 T20 sixes in India. The list is topped by former India skipper Rohit Sharma, who has smashed 388 T20 sixes in India in just 320 matches.
