Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has made his relationship with Sophie Shine official, sharing a social media post on May 1. The duo made headlines when they were spotted together at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Both Dhawan and Shine were recently seen together at a recent media conclave, which sparked dating his dating rumours. 

Dhawan's partner, Sophie Shine, posted a photo of the two together, which has since gone viral.

Sophie captioned the photo, "My love," accompanied by a heart emoji. This marks the first time Sophie and Dhawan have gone public with their relationship, putting an end to months of swirling rumours.

Sophie Shine is an Irish product consultant with an impressive professional background. She holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology and previously studied at Castleroy College in Ireland. Currently, she is working as the Second Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Shikhar Dhawan announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Saturday, August 24. The star opener has played 269 international matches where he scored 10867 at an average of 40.39. He smashed 24 centuries and 55 half-centuries. Dhawan has played 222 Indian Premier League matches, where he scored 6768 runs, including two centuries and 51 half-centuries at an average of 35.07. Shikhar Dhawan's last international match was an ODI against Bangladesh on December 10, 2022, in Chattogram.
