IPL 2025 Mega auction Overview: 574 players are set to go under the hammer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. Franchises like Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have plenty left in the purse to engage in long-running bidding wars over the course of two days of mega auction.

The list of 574 players for the mega auction comprises of 366 Indian and 208 overseas players. A maximum of 204 spots are available for the auction. A total of 81 players including 23 Indian have opted for the highest base price of Rs 2 crore.

Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul are a few prominent Indian names who will start bidding wars as franchises look for their next captain. Among overseas players, Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc, Phil Salt may fetch a huge amount in the mega auction as well.
