SFU beat LAKR

LAKR defeated SFU by 6 wickets. SFU managed to chase down the 166-run target by the 16th over itself with the help of blazing knocks from Finn Allen and Matthew Short. Allen smashed 63 runs off 37 balls and Short played an astonishing innings of 58 runs off just 26 balls. Both of them helped the team pick up a comfortable win against the Knights.

“Nice to see Finn and Shorty take the bowlers down. The boundaries aren't big. It's ideal to chase in the night but you got to bat well too. You don't have to tell them much (his top three batters). The way they play the game is extremely aggressive. That's going to come with ups and downs. He (Brady Couch) was fantastic today,” said SFU captain Corey Anderson in the post-match presentation.
