Former India captain Virat Kohli is currently playing in the three-match ODI series against New Zealand. He has scored 116 runs in two matches so far, including a 93-run knock in the opening game at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. India won the first ODI, while New Zealand bounced back to win the second match.

Ahead of the series decider, Kohli, along with spinner Kuldeep Yadav, visited the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek blessings. The third and final ODI of the series will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

A video of Kohli’s temple visit has been going viral on social media. In the clip, the star batter can be seen bowing his head in prayer at the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple.

Kohli, who smashed two consecutive centuries against South Africa in his previous outings, has continued his form against the BlackCaps as he smashed 93 runs in the series opener, and after that, he was dismissed on 23 in the second clash. The batting great is currently third highest run-getter after Daryl Mitchell and KL Rahul, amassing 116 runs with a strike rate of 96.66.

Virat Kohli's ODI record in Holkar Stadium

The third ODI will take place at Holkar Stadium in Indore, where Kohli has a forgettable record despite the batting-friendly wicket with short boundaries. He managed to score only 99 runs across 4 innings at an average of 33.00 and a strike rate of 108.79, with his highest score being just 36.
