Defending champions Vidarbha announced two changes in their Ranji Trophy 2025 squad ahead of the upcoming clash against Tamil Nadu. The Akshay Wadkar-led side replaced injured Aditya Thakare with Lalit Yadav and added Satyam Bhoyar in their 17-member squad.

Vidarbha, who are atop the Elite Group A points table with one draw and a win each in two matches so far, will take on Tamil Nadu in an away game at Coimbatore from November 1.

In their opening match, Vidarbha had defeated Nagaland by an innings and 179 runs. After that, the side faced Jharkhand in their second clash, which ended in a draw at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

Nagaland vs Tamil Nadu clash

On the other hand, Tamil Nadu recently faced Nagaland in their last clash, which ended in a draw. Coming back to the match, Nagaland openers Dega Nischal and Imliwati Lemtur played the innings of their lives to help their team to pull off a memorable draw against a strong Tamil Nadu side in their Ranji Trophy Group A clash at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur.
