The 2024-25 season of Ranji Trophy in Indian domestic cricket has started from October 11. In which five renowned batters could not do anything special to prove their contenders for a place in the Indian Test team and their show was a flop. This includes names ranging from Cheteshwar Pujara to Hanuma Vihari, who are currently not getting a spot on the national side. If their bats remained silent, their teams would also stuck in trouble. Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara, who is unable to find a spot in the Rohit Sharma-led Indian Test team from the year 2023, could not do anything special in the first innings of the first match of domestic cricket. Pujara, playing for the Saurashtra team, could score only 16 runs in 41 balls with two fours and his team was limited to 203 runs in the first innings against Tamil Nadu.
 

Rajat Patidar

The bat of RCB's ace batter Rajat Patidar, who plays for the Madhya Pradesh team, also remained silent. Patidar could score only 31 runs in 61 balls with three fours. However, by the end of the first day, his team scored 232 runs for four wickets against Karnataka.

Wriddhiman Saha

The bat of Wriddhiman Saha, who was once one of the prominent wicket-keeper batters of the Indian Test team could not also perform for his team and He could not even open the account in six balls. Krunal Pandya

Hanuma Vihari

Hanuma Vihari who last played for India during the 2022 England tour has been unable to mark his return in the national side. He could not put on a show in the match against Vidarbha and got out after scoring just one run off four balls. His team got all out on just 118 runs and Vidarbha managed to post 114 runs by the stumps.
