Delhi Under-14 cricket witnessed a startling knock when a 13-year-old kid played a scintillating 331-run knock off just 125 balls. In an Under-14 Dream Changer Cup, DC Bal Bhavan Academy's Mohak Kumar smashed the opponent bowlers to all the parts of the ground during his triple century. The teenager played with a strike rate of 264.80 and made boundaries look like a 30-yard circle with over a dozen maximums.

292 runs from boundaries
In his epic knock, Mohak smashed 30 sixes and 28 fours. Out of 331 runs, the left-handed batter scored 292 runs through the boundaries only. Only 39 runs of his epic knock came via singles and doubles. Seeing this astonishing knock from Mohak, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) couldn’t resist themselves from uploading the epic knock on their social media handle. In the video, the young left-handed batter was seen punishing the bowlers for pitching it short to him. In the short clip, majority of his boundaries were scored on the leg side.

Mohak idolises Gayle and Dhawan

The attacking left-handed batter idolises Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and West Indies' Chris Gayle. The teenager started playing cricket he was five years old. Currently, he is in the eighth standard and constantly juggles between his practice sessions and studies.

Not the first time in junior level Cricket
This is not the first time when a player at a junior level has impressed everyone with their knocks. Back in the year 2016, Maharashtra cricketer Pranav Dhanawade also stunned everyone with his batting in school cricket. The batter had scored 1009 runs in a match. Dhanawade is the only batsman in the world who has scored 1000 runs in a match. Before him, England's EJ Collins had scored 628 runs in 1899.
