Suman's wicket-taking spree began in the 23rd over when he dismissed Manay Katariya. After a brief lull, he returned to claim the wicket of Rajasthan's captain, Toshit. With these breakthroughs, Rajasthan found themselves in trouble at 82/5.

Suman continued his relentless assault, picking up two wickets in the 44th over. Rajasthan managed to hold on for over 20 overs, but Suman eventually completed his historic achievement by claiming the final wicket in the 74th over.

Suman finally completed his historic feat by dismissing Gulab Singh in the fifth delivery of the 76th over. He bowled a total of 33.5 overs out of Bihar's 75.5 overs. Parth Yadav was Rajasthan's top scorer with a score of 50 runs.

Bihar dominate Rajasthan

Bihar, after scoring 467 runs in their first innings, bowled out Rajasthan for a paltry 182 runs. Suman Kumar's exceptional bowling performance was instrumental in helping Bihar turn screw on Rajasthan.

Rajasthan was forced to follow on and ended the third day's play at 173/2, still trailing Bihar by 112 runs. While Suman hasn't yet added to his wicket tally in Rajasthan's second innings, his impact on the match has been significant.

Rakesh Tiwari, the president of the Bihar Cricket Association, congratulated Suman Kumar on his historic achievement. He praised the young cricketer's dedication and expressed optimism that Bihar-based players can now make a big impact at the national level.

"Suman Kumar's historic achievement of taking all 10 wickets in an innings is a moment of immense pride for Bihar cricket. His dedication and talent are a testament to the growing cricketing ecosystem in Bihar, which is now producing remarkable players capable of making a mark on the national stage," he said, as quoted by Times of India.

Notably, the ongoing domestic cricket season has witnessed two such bowling performances. Following Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj's 10-wicket haul in a Ranji Trophy match against Kerala, Suman Kumar's exceptional show in the Cooch Behar Trophy has further highlighted the exceptional talent emerging from Indian cricket. Notably, these achievements were in first-class matches, as U14, U16, U19, and U23 matches do not hold first-class or List A status.
