Five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK)'s cryptic tweet ahead of the upcoming mega auction sparks speculations among the fans ahead of retention for the upcoming tournament. IPL governing body BCCI already gave 31 October as a deadline to all the franchises for submitting their list of retention.

Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK is one of the most followed franchises of the cash-rich league and the reason behind their stardom is none other than former skipper MS Dhoni who led the team to five titles. CSK posted a tweet with lot of emojis where fans are speculating their retentions. Here is the post

The post featured a series of emojis that hinted at various players, creating quite a buzz among fans. The helicopter emoji is widely interpreted as a nod to MS Dhoni returning in his Yellow jersey. The kiwi fruit emoji likely points to a New Zealand player, possibly Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway. Interestingly, the emojis of swords and horses seem to suggest Ravindra Jadeja. Fans recall that whenever Jadeja scores fifty or more, he celebrates by waving his bat like a sword. Plus, he has a passion for horse riding, making these hints even more fitting!

IPL mega auction will take place next year outside India because their is a massive wedding season in India.

In CSK's retention list, Ravindra Jadeja tops the list, followed by skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad in the second spot. Pacer Matheesha Pathirana has secured the third retention position. Additionally, the franchise is expected to retain two players from the trio of Shivam Dube, Devon Conway, and Samir Rizvi.
