Sydney Thunder batter David Warner brought up his third century in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League (BBL). The left-hand batter played a sensational knock of 110* against the Sydney Sixers to help his team post a fighting total of 189/6 on the board after 20 overs. The left-hand batter scored 11 boundaries and four towering sixes during his long stay on the crease.
The century was Warner's tenth in T20 cricket and it saw him surpass Virat Kohli and Rilee Rossouw on an elite list. He has now become the player with the third-most hundreds in the shortest format only behind Chris Gayle and Babar Azam.

This was Warner's second century of the ongoing BBL season. He had previously played an incredible knock of 130* against the Hobart Hurricanes. The 39-year-old has so far scored a total of 433 runs in the ongoing season of the league, including two centuries and half-centuries each. He has featured in eight games in the season so far and has maintained a phenomenal average of 86.60.
Warner achieves another milestone
Warner's T20 record is nothing short of fabulous as he went on to cross 14,000 runs in the format during his knock against the Sydney Sixers. He is only the fourth player after Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Alex Hales to reach the astounding milestone.

Meanwhile, the Thunder have had quite a forgettable BBL season so far and have lost seven out of their nine games. They are out of contention from making it to the playoffs and have only been able to accumulate four points in the campaign.
