Rumours and talks were galore that Bollywood actor Esha Gupta and India's star allrounder Hardik Pandya were dating each other, suggesting a romantic connection between the duo. However, recently Esha Gupta addressed these speculations during her appearance on Siddharth Kannan's YouTube channel. In her clarification, she stated that while she and Hardik Pandya were indeed in contact for a period of approximately two months, their relationship did not evolve into a romantic one, thus dispelling the earlier rumours.

“Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months. We were at that ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage. It ended before we even reached the dating stage. So it wasn’t dating-dating. We met once or twice, that’s it. So yeah, as I said, it was a couple of months and then it ended. Maybe it could have happened, but things fizzled out quickly. There was no drama or bitterness,” Esha said during a conversation with Siddharth Kannan.
The Bollywood actor also touched base on Hardik's infamous Koffee With Karan interview in 2019 and said that she was unaffected by the episode as she was no longer in touch with the India's star all-rounder by then.
“That part didn’t affect me, because we had already stopped talking by then,” she added.
Notably, Hardik had a bit of a turbulent personal life. He and Natasa Stankovic tied the knot in 2020 and late gave birth to a baby boy named Agastya. However, in 2024, the couple announced their decision to part ways, stating their intention to continue jointly raising their child. Their marriage, which took place during the lockdown of 2020 in a private ceremony, was followed by the arrival of their son in July of the same year. Subsequently, they celebrated their union with a grand vow renewal ceremony in Udaipur in 2023. Despite these celebrations, their separation was announced in July 2024, with both parties acknowledging it as a "tough decision" while emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting Agastya.
More recently, Hardik has been the subject of fresh speculation regarding his romantic life, with British singer Jasmin Walia being the individual mentioned in these rumours. These speculations intensified after the two were seen together during the IPL 2025 season. Further fueling the rumours, Jasmin Walia was also observed travelling with Hardik on the Mumbai Indians team bus, a mode of transport generally reserved for the partners and family members of the players.
Currently Hardik is enjoying his free time after IPL 2025. He will next be seen in action for Team India in the white-ball series against Bangladesh in August. Or if India happen to not play Bangladesh, the 31-year-old will directly feature for white-ball series against Australia in October.
