From Kuldeep Yadav to Rinku Singh: List of Indian cricketers whose engagements and weddings hogged the limelight in 2025

2025 was a year that saw multiple prominent Indian cricketers get engaged to their loved ones. Both Kuldeep Yadav and Rinku Singh got engaged to their life partners in June earlier this year and started a new journey. The two are yet to get married, but it is expected that the wedding ceremony will also be held soon.

On the other hand, Smriti Mandhana also made the headlines after she got engaged with Director and Music Producer Palash  Muchhal in November. Notably, Palash had proposed to Smriti at the D.Y. Patil stadium in Mumbai after India's triumph of the Women'sWorld Cup. The two were expected to get married later in the month, however their wedding was eventually cancelled.

Kuldeep Yadav: The India spinner got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony on June 4, 2025. The ceremony was reportedly attended by family and close friends. Notably, Rinku Singh had also attended the ceremony.  Kuldeep's wedding was originally set to take place on June 29, but had to be postponed due to India's long tour of England that included five Tests. The wedding ceremony is yet to take place, however the duo are expected to tie the knot soon.

Rinku Singh: The India batter got engaged with Member of Pariliament Priya Saroj on June 8, 2025. The ceremony took place at a luxurious hotel in Lucknow and though it was a private event, it was attended by multiple sport and political figures. The  venue hosted over 300 guests in total. Among the attendees were former India cricketers Praveen Kumar and Piyush Chawla, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, MPs Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Yadav and more.

Smriti Mandhana: The star batter had gotten engaged to director and music producer Palash Muchhal following India's triumph in the 2025 Women's World Cup. The duo were supposed to get married on November 23., however just a day before the ceremony, Mandhana's father got admitted to the hospital. This led to the duo postponing their wedding but it didn't end up taking place even after her father was discharged. In fact, Mandhana announced that the wedding had gotten called off shortly after.
