Australia have announced the full schedule for the white-ball series against India which is schedule to get underway from October 19. India will tour to Australia in October and November this year for a massive eight-game white-ball tour across eight different cities. The schedule includes a three-match ODI series and a thrilling five-match T20I series.
Cricket Australia has finally revealed the full fixtures of the limited-overs clashes against India and South Africa on March 30 following their earlier announcement of the Ashes dates.
For the first time ever, the 2025-26 cricket 'season' in Australia is set to be a truly national affair. Every single Australian state and territory will get to host men's international cricket. As part of this, both Canberra and Hobart are gearing up to welcome the Indian team during their five-match T20 series. It's a pretty big deal for cricket fans across the entire country.
The action will kick off with a three-game ODI series featuring the two finalists from the 2023 ODI World Cup. These matches are set to be played in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney. Following that, the T20 excitement will begin, with the Gold Coast's Carrara Stadium joining the more traditional cricket grounds like the MCG and the Gabba as host venues.
"We smashed many records for attendance, viewing audiences and digital engagement last summer and we're confident that this incredible momentum will continue throughout what promises to be an engrossing season," Cricket Australia's outgoing chief executive Nick Hockley said, as quoted by TOI.
"We are extremely grateful for the cooperation and support of all our government, venue, broadcast and commercial partners who ensure Australia's national sport continues to deliver brilliant experiences in stadiums and drive participation across the country," he added.
Before India arrives, Australia are scheduled to host South Africa for a series of three ODIs and three T20Is. This series will mark a big moment as Darwin will host its first international cricket matches in 17 long years. Moreover, Cairns and Mackay are also on the list to welcome the Proteas in August.
