India bowl out out Sri Lanka for 173

Sri Lanka lost their first three wickets on the score of 8 runs that too in a span of five balls and 0 runs. First Pulindu Perera got run out after scoring 6 runs on the last ball of the third over. Later Chetan Sharma removed Dulnith Sigera and Vimath Dinsara on back-to-back deliveries in the very next over.

Later Sharujan Shanmuganathan and Lakvin Abeysinghe joined a crucial 93-run partnership but it was not enough to put them over the line as later the team kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. India managed to bowl out the SL side for a low score of 173 runs.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's blistering knock

On the same pitch, where Sri Lankan batters were struggling to score runs, Indian openers appeared to be in a totally different touch. Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi joined a 91-run stand and took the game completely away from the Sri Lanka side. Ayush Mathre did get out after scoring 34 runs but it did not affect the way the match was heading to.

13-year-old Suryavanshi played a blazing knock of 67 runs off just 36 balls and completely destroyed the Lankan bowling attack. India comfortably chased down the target in 21.4 overs and sealed their spot in the finals of the tournament where they will face Bangladesh who defeated Pakistan
