The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) have announced the schedule of the second edition of the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars, which is scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 13-22. According to the tournament schedule, India A women will face Pakistan A on February 15, the same day the two countries will clash in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The upcoming T20 tournament aims to spotlight the next wave of women’s cricketing talent across Asia. The competition will feature ‘A’ teams from four full-member nations with One Day International (ODI) status, alongside four top associate teams from the region.

Why Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 taking place in Thailand
The second edition of the tournament was originally scheduled to begin on June 6 last year in Sri Lanka. However, it was postponed after Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva requested a delay, citing prolonged adverse weather conditions and public health concerns linked to the outbreak and spread of chikungunya in the country.
ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 Groups
According to the official schedule released by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), India ‘A’ has been placed in Group A, where they will face Pakistan ‘A’, the United Arab Emirates, and Nepal. Group B comprises Bangladesh ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

Group B: Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Malaysia, Thailand
India ‘A’ will begin their campaign against the UAE on February 13, followed by a highly anticipated clash with arch-rivals Pakistan ‘A’ on February 15. Their group-stage journey will conclude with a match against Nepal on February 17.
