India’s T20 World Cup-winning players Abhishek Sharma and Axar Patel have been added to the National Anti-Doping Agency’s (NADA) Registered Testing Pool (RTP) for the second quarter of this year. This list mainly includes athletes, but a few cricketers are also part of it.
Abhishek and Axar take the place of Smriti Mandhana and Shreyas Iyer in the updated list, which now has 348 sportspersons.
Everyone on this list must regularly share their location details with NADA and be available for testing during a fixed daily time slot. Missing this requirement three times can be treated as a doping violation.

Who are the cricketers included in NADA Registered Testing Pool (RTP)
The rest of the cricket names remain the same. Players like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Arshdeep Singh, and Tilak Verma are still included. From the women’s team, Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, and Renuka Singh Thakur continues to be part of the group. In total, 14 cricketers are on the list.

Athletics share in NADA Registered Testing Pool (RTP)
Athletics has the biggest share, increasing from 118 to 134 athletes. Some of the well-known names include Avinash Sable, Jyothi Yarraji, Tejaswin Shankar, and Animesh Kujur. Others like Shaili Singh, M Sreeshankar, and Tajinderpal Singh Toor are also included.
In archery, Deepika Kumari, Rakesh Kumar, and para-archer Sheetal Devi have been selected. Hockey players on the list include Manpreet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas, Hardik Singh, Salima Tete, Savita Punia, and Navneet Kaur.
The badminton group has eight players, including PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, and Gayatri Gopichand. There are also 22 boxers, with names like Nikhat Zareen, Nishant Dev, Jaismine Lamboria, and Olympic medalist Lovlina Borgohain. Wrestling also has a strong presence with 31 athletes, including Olympic bronze medalist Aman Sehrawat.
