England star batter Joe Root has added another feather in his cap during Day 2 of the ongoing third Test match between England and West Indies at the Edgbaston Stadium. Joe Root who smashed a century in the last Test match has become the seventh highest run-getter in Test cricket. He surpassed the legendary Brain Lara to reach this milestone.
However, The hosts are struggling in the dead-rubber game, as they have lost five wickets for less than 100 runs on the board. Ahead of the start of day 2, Root required 13 runs to go past Lara.
