After Uzbekistan won the toss and elected to field in Khost, Eisakhil walked out to open the innings alongside captain Imran Mir. The 19-year-old wasted no time, launch-pad crashing the bowlers to all corners of the ground to race to a 17-ball half-century. He accelerated even further from there, needing just 11 more deliveries to reach his spectacular hundred.
Like father-Like son, Hassan Eisakhil rocks with blistering 34-ball 120
By the time he voluntarily retired out at the conclusion of the 10th over, the youngster had compiled a staggering 120 runs off just 34 balls, operating at a mind-boggling strike rate of 352.94. His jaw-dropping knock included four boundaries and an incredible 16 sixes, driving Afghanistan XI to 181 runs in just ten overs. Shortly after Eisakhil's exit, his opening partner Mir was dismissed for a blistering 74 off 32 balls.

The onslaught continued through Faisal Shainzada, who starred for Afghanistan at the U19 World Cup earlier this year, as he chipped in with a rapid 31 off 14 balls, scoring the majority of his runs in boundaries. Backed by a collective total of 27 sixes and 23 fours, the home team ultimately amassed a colossal total of 323/7.
Faced with a daunting required run rate of over 16 runs per over, Uzbekistan's chase never truly got off the ground, as they crawled to 124/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Middle-order batter Merjauddin provided the lone resistance for the visitors, fighting his way to a 46-ball 62 that included 12 boundaries. Afghanistan XI's bowling attack comfortably choked the chase, with Wafadar Momand, Naseer Khan Maroofkhil, and Imran Mir each snaring two wickets, while Faridoon Dawoodzai chipped in with one.
Hassan Eisakhil on the rise
This incredible display from Hassan Eisakhil adds another chapter to his rising career, which saw a historic milestone earlier this year when he and his father, Mohammad Nabi, became the first father-son duo to bat together in franchise cricket. Representing the Noakhali Express against the Dhaka Capitals in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the pair put on an entertaining 53-run partnership off just 30 deliveries.

That match also marked Hassan's brilliant BPL debut, where he stole the show with a magnificent knock of 92, guiding his team to just their second victory in eight games. He concluded his highly impressive maiden BPL campaign with 224 runs across three matches. The unique family rivalry had actually sparked a year prior in the Shpageeza Cricket League, where the two faced off against each other, and the teenager audaciously dispatched his father's very first delivery over the boundary for a six.
To date, the young prospect has accumulated 1,022 runs across 38 T20 appearances, maintaining a healthy average of 30.05 and a strike rate of 128.39, alongside one century and seven half-centuries. Meanwhile, his timeless father remains a force on the international stage at 41 years old, currently holding the number three spot in the ICC ODI all-rounder rankings.
