His previous first-class appearance was in a Ranji Trophy 2025-26 group stage match against Baroda. Leading Tamil Nadu, he claimed four wickets in the first innings. The match ended in a draw.

Gloucestershire’s struggles in current season

Currently. Gloucestershire are languishing at the bottom of the points table. From eight games, they have managed to win just one whereas seven ended in defeats. Their only win of the season came against Derbyshire in April 2026. Since then, they have lost four consecutive games, including two against Northamptonshire.
