Harsh Dubey smashed a unbeaten match winning half-century against Oman.

India A kept their semifinal hopes alive with an important win over Oman in a must-win game at Doha’s West End Park International Cricket Stadium. After choosing to bowl first, India A put in a disciplined effort with the ball and held Oman to 135/7 in 20 overs. Suyash Sharma was the pick of the bowlers with two scalps, conceding 12 runs in four overs, while Gurjapneet Singh picked up two for 37. Vijaykumar Vyshak, Harsh Dubey, and Naman Dhir chipped in with one wicket each.

Oman's innings

Oman began their innings with some early momentum but couldn’t keep it going as India A tightened up their bowling in the middle and final overs. The pressure from the bowlers kept Oman from building a bigger total.

India A’s chase didn’t start smoothly. Young left-hander Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed early for 12, and Priyansh Arya fell for 10. But Naman Dhir and Harsh Dubey steadied things, with Dhir hitting a fast 30 off 19 balls before falling to Samay Shrivastava. By then, India A had built a platform to control the chase.

The innings was then shaped by a calm and confident partnership between Harsh Dubey and Nehal Wadhera. Their stand kept the asking rate under control, and India A reached the target in 17.5 overs, finishing at 134/4 to secure a six-wicket win.
