Throughout his already remarkable career, Rohit has been known as a power-hitter and has  hit a massive number of maximums in all the three formats. However, he has been incredibly dominant especially in ODIs, scoring a total of 11,370 runs in 276 matches. He  is by far the Indian player with the most maximums in one-day cricket with MS Dhoni being second with 229 sixes in 350 games.

Rohit's successful series against Australia

Rohit is currently the No.1 batter in ODIs according to the ICC Rankings. Though the Men in Blue ended up  losing the series by 2-1, it was Rohit's unbeaten knock of 121* in the third match that ensured that the team didn't leave  Australia with no wins in the series.
