He finished as India's leading run scorer in the tournament, amassing an impressive 257 runs across eight matches with a belligerent strike rate of 156.70. His highest knock came against Australia in the Super 8 stage, where he blazed a trail with a stunning 92 runs.

Rohit Sharma on retirement plans for ODIs and Tests

"I just said it, I don't look that far ahead. So clearly you will be seeing me playing for a while," Rohit said.
