New Zealand pacer Adam Milne in his second match of debut SA20 season for Sunrisers Eastern Cape, claimed a four-wicket haul against Dewald Brevis’ Pretoria Capitals. Milne 's economical four-fer helped Sunrisers bowl out Capitals for 140 in 18 overs and register a 48-run win at St George's Park, Gqeberha.

Milne was roped in by Rajasthan Royals (RR) for Rs 2.4 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini-auction. For Sunrisers, he got the crucial wicket of Shai Hope who scored 36 runs from 19 balls in the unsuccessful run chase. Milne also dismissed Sherfane Rutherford to rule out any chances of Capitals getting close to the target. From his quota of four overs, he conceded just 25 runs. He got support from Tharindu Rathnayake who took two wickets for 15 runs.

This was the ninth time Milne took four or more wickets in his T20 career which began in September 2010.

In 2021, he joined Mumbai Indians (MI) and got three wickets for four games. In IPL 2022, Milne made his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) debut and got injured right after. He was replaced by Sri Lanka's Matheesha Pathirana whose stocks went up and he has been picked for Rs 18 crore by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
