Stuart Broad has dropped his list of greatest Test fast bowlers, leaving fans wondering. The former England fast bowler has placed long-time new-ball partner James Anderson at number one. The list has some high-profile names, including one pacer each from India and Pakistan.

What was surprising is that the list did not include Mitchell Starc, who recently became the 10th-highest Test wicket-taker. However, his name not being included in the list has surprised fans. Other notable absentees include Malcolm Marshall and Allan Donald.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Broad ranked Australian great Glenn McGrath second and India’s Jasprit Bumrah third. The rest of his list reads: Shaun Pollock (4), Curtly Ambrose (5), Dale Steyn (6), Wasim Akram (7), Pat Cummins (8), Richard Hadlee (9) and Mitchell Johnson (10). Anderson, the leading wicket-taker among fast bowlers with 704 Test scalps, heads a selection that mixes different eras and includes three Australians and two South Africans.
