Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya shared a message for young players picked by the franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. The franchise picked three uncapped players in the mega auction. MI is one of the most successful franchises in the history of the tournament. The Mumbai-based franchise are five-time winners which are joint most wins in the history of the cash-rich league.ย 

India's several key players also feature for MI including India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, India's Test and ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, legendary speedster Jasprit Bumrah and one of the best all-rounders Hardik Pandya. MI shared a video on their social space where skipper Hardik can be seen sharing a message for the young talent picked by franchise in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.ย 

MI picked 18 players in the mega auction whereย three uncapped players were Naman Dhir (5.5 crore), Robin Minz (65 lakh)ย and Karn Sharma (50 Lakh).ย

MI has failed to perform since its last win in 2020. The franchise faced a huge backlash during the last season of IPL after they changed their captain. Rohit Sharma who was leading MI since 2023 was swapped by Hardik who was in Gujarat Titans (GT).ย
