International Cricket Council (ICC) president Jay Shah, along with Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, met the Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum on the sidelines of the Dubai-India Business Forum in Mumbai.
Indian cricket trio Rohit, Hardik and Suryakumar Yadav are currently featuring for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The cricketers made time away from their IPL duties to meet the Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
ICC chairman Jay Shah took his 'X', formerly known as Twitter, to share a clip where he can be seen meeting Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. Here is the video.
Coming back to IPL 2025, Hardik-led MI recently played against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) where Patidar-led RCB defeated the five-time champions by 12 runs to register their first IPL win at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in 10 years.
MI had a forgetful start in the cash-rich league as the franchise are currently eighth in the points table tally as they lost four out of their five matches in the tournament. MI will now face DC for their sixth clash of the IPL 2025 which is scheduled to take place on April 13 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
